Mechanical systems upgrade of an existing high-rise business hotel including the replacement of the following equipment: two R-11 water-cooled chillers with two R-134a chillers, cooling tower, space heating boilers, pumps, main level air handling unit, 216 guest room fan coils, corridor air handling units; the conversion of the existing guest room fan coil changeover piping system to chilled water only; the addition of a new space heating hot water system; and the upgrade of the existing chiller room to meet current mechanical code including refrigerant monitoring and alarms, emergency refrigerant purge and equipment shutdown, and chiller room ventilation.
